Carescape RAD - Remote alarm device

Carescape RAD is an external accessory device, which can be used for relaying the Carescape modular monitor’s alarm condition to a distributed alarm system with two SPDT (single pole dual throw) switches. The two SPDT switches can be used, for example, for breaking an alarm loop or switching power to remote alarm light. Device control options are implemented in the Carescape monitor’s software.

Features

  • Adds two SPDT relay switch contacts on the Carescape monitor.
  • Relay contacts can be used for interfacing distributed one-way alarm system wiring, such as nurse call or alarm loop or controlling remote alarm light power source or control signal.
