Seminar on respirators (anesthesia and intensive care)
As part of the knowledge transfer, participants are taught technical and practical knowledge in function and construction of anesthesia respirators. To facilitate the daily work in anesthesia and on the intensive care unit, an overview of modern forms of ventilation and the handling of anesthesia systems and intensive care ventilators is provided. The basic knowledge conveyed about forms of ventilation, the technical structure and functioning of ventilation machines is intended to build up confidence in handling the respirator. In the hands-on training, the focus is on the avoidance of faulty operation and the prevention of malfunctions in daily routine operation, as well as in troubleshooting and leakage detection.
- Training can be organized individually by arrangement.
- The target group for this seminar are anesthesia nurses or intensive care nurses and physicians who work with GE-Anandic respirators.

Seminar Patient Monitoring for Anesthesia, AWR, IMC and ICU
The aim of this course is to teach the application and technical basics of modern GE-Carescape patient monitors for anesthesia and intensive care. In addition, the application possibilities and the interpretation of the most frequently used monitoring parameters are explained. The participants will receive an overview of today's safety requirements, as well as the technical functioning of the monitoring parameters and the practical application to recognize and prevent false alarms or measurement artefacts in daily practice.
