Features and benefits

  • The LED of the Greenlight II and Vital View II is one of the brightest light sources on the market. The proximal end of the light rod on all laryngoscope blades is fitted with a diaphragm to prevent light refl ections that could impair visualisation.
  • The service life of the LED in both systems is approx. 50,000 hours. The highly efficient Greenlight II and Vital View II technology offers up to seven times longer battery life than standard light sources with incandescent bulbs. Both systems also provide constant light output even when the battery voltage drops, whereas the luminosity of conventional laryngoscope systems often decreases over time.
  • The ergonomically shaped handles of both laryngoscope systems have a durable, non-slip coating.
  • The disposable laryngoscope blades made of stainless steel or surgical plastic help to reduce the risk of cross-contamination and infection. They provide even, optimal illumination. With reusable blades, light output may diminish over time due to frequent sterilisation.
  • Disposable blades can increase productivity and reduce the costs associated with the laborious decontamination, sterilisation and transport for reprocessing of reusable blades. Furthermore, with disposable blades, there is no need to replace missing or worn blades.
