Prevent damage to the lungs
- The small, tapered tip of the Parker Flex-Tip tube is significantly easier to insert into the small glottis opening than the much larger tip of a standard ET tube. The curved, flexible tip slides smoothly down and overcomes the tracheal rings without damage.
- The patented Parker Flex-Tip Tracheal Tube has a soft, flexible, curved and centred distal tip designed to prevent trauma to the delicate structures of the airway. The tip has 2 Murphy Eye openings. When the tube is advanced, the Parker tip bends and always moves in the direction of the airway or glottis. The tip "formally skis" over the structures of the airway.
- The 37° angle of the Parker tube, together with the curve of the tip, result in a better view of the distal end of the tip as the glottis opening is approached.
