An integrated approach to quality patient care

S/5 Anesthesia Delivery Unit (ADU) is an innovative approach to anesthesia delivery. As part of the S/5 Anesthesia System, it combines enhanced ventilation features, electronically controlled gas delivery and agent vaporization with patient monitoring and information management to create a truly integrated system. The S/5 ADU’s electronic control with integrated anesthesia record keeping enables the recording of anesthesia delivery and patient monitored parameters.

The revolutionary Aladin vcaporizer cassettes are electronically controlled. the vaporisation process is traditional. Maintenance is obsolete, automatic recognition of agent cassette, easy exchange.

Fresh gas information, agent concentration, ventilator settings and patient circuit pressures are displayed on one single configurable color screen. Monitored patient gas and spirometry values can also be configured to be displayed in the same screen. The information is also transferred to the deioRecorder, a benefit that only electronic gas and agent control can provide. Furthermore delivery controls are grouped closely together for convenient setting and adjustment.

As part of the S/5 product family, the S/5 ADU shares the same intuitive user interface and familiar design for easy learning and operation. Together with the S/5 Monitoring solutions and deio/Centricity Recorder, it forms a complete integrated and ergonomic system that can provide real value for patient care.
